MJ Rabbit loves... Christopher Ward’s homage to Aston Martin

English watchmaker Christopher Ward produces a number of limited-edition collections to keep its loyal customer base engaged with the brand.

Crafted to celebrate Aston Martin’s centenary, the C70 DBR 1/2 Chronometer incorporates historic metal from the 1959 Le Mans-winning Aston Martin DBR 1/2 in the back-plate. Yes – that is real metal, from the actual car! The metal plate even has the car’s number 5 emblazoned in green on top and the dial is Aston Martin green, of course.

Although this limited edition of 100 pieces has now sold out, motorsport fans now await an upcoming collection of watches that include a piece of metal from the world’s most expensive car, a Ferrari GTO.
